Just wanted to say hello to all my fellow Karnakians, and I thought we should have a welcome/introduction thread too! So go ahead and introduce your character, talk about future goals, discuss about what you are trying to level, or anything else you might have noticed occuring in Karnak!

Starting City: Gridania
Jobs I'm trying to level: Thaumaturge, Lancer, Botanist, and Alchemist
Linkshell status: Leader of Forest Federation
Who you'll see me playing with: My brother Roland Pencroff or my neighbor Arrick Bravik
Future goals: Try to go out and explore more once I feel confident enough that I'll be able to survive haha!
Problems I am trying to solve: I need to find a place that sells some robes/anything for a thaumaturge besides a weapon for them. I might have to travel to Uldah, but I am liking Gridania a lot!

New to game, going to conj for now

Started as marauder but I'm planning to try other stuff out. Planning to get into smithing and/or armoring for sure.
I started a LS called Last Caress. That was the same name I used for my LS in FFXI too. It never really took off in XI, so it was mostly just a social shell for me and a few friends. Since socializing and exploring is all we really have to do for now, that's what it'll be in XIV for now too. Anyone looking for a LS is welcomed to join.

Hey what's up? My name in game is Lil Weezy

I started playing on Karnak this past weekend.
My character is: Lou Collins, female duskwight Elezen, Ul'dah
I started out as a Thaumaturge (rank 9) and this will be my primary job. I just learned weaving (rank 4), but will probably take up Goldsmithing and Blacksmithing as well. I'm spending most of my time at the moment just getting to know this game. I would really like to join an LS because I don't know anyone on the server. I'm really trying hard to get my husband to play with me. He said if I could find an Opo Opo in the game, take a screenshot with me in it, he would start playing. Now I need to find said Opo Opo ^^; I know they exist.

Try the Black Shroud region. It a pretty decent walking distance from your city, but it's fairly safe. It's much safer to travel by foot in this game than in XI for sure.

Hey guys, im a Karnakian also, i started the game on Wutai with a Pugilist and decided it wasn't for me, so I re rolled here with a lalafell Conjurer which I am currently enjoying. Im 20 from England and play most days after 15:00 GMT. If any of you ever need a healer just hit me up, i also Created a LinkShell called Twisted Chaos.

I started playing this week on Monday with my best friend. I'm a Gladiator, he's a Thaumaturge. Yes, perfect close-combat + magic duo. =D
We are also looking for a linkshell!

Problems I am trying to solve: Locating parts to build the needed tools to then find the parts to build the needed weapons and armor...such a vicious cycle!

Hey all please to meet you. Hope your all having fun in karnak, so lets make it the best severver :). iv been playing now for about 2 weeks and im loving it, i play with my cousin Stehen Masamune and my other cousing will be on hopefully next week sometime.

Looking for people to takle the lvl 20 and up levees i have access to all three major cities and make a trip to all every couple days. i grind all over the map. try to take on top levees for each main city every chance i get. trying to get a few hours in each night.
Hoping this server will not go kaput when trial period is over and people leave.

Goals: Meet some people, amuse myself. :3
Problems: Having a hard time selling crafted items and finding items for crafts, but what else is new. :P Been playing solo until now, so I'm not really familiar with partying and such yet.
