It’s early in the game and we are still working to raise many of our disciplines, we don’t need to do everything as a group, independence is a plus to us. For now we're just leveling and exploring the map. The idea for the LS is to have one player dedicated for each of the Hand disciplines. Then we all share in the resources and crafting. If we click, we can grow as a group to do many things. I don’t believe that FFXIV will require large LS groups even in end game (the way FFXI did).

- Want to keep it a small tight knit group; no more than 7 total for now, more later if things are working out well for us.

- East Coast times (…and I go to bed early during the week) [5:00pm – 8:00’ish weekdays]

- Mature (2 of the current members are 40+) [To clarify: Mature as in attitude, communication, and cooperation, not necessarily just old fogies like some of us.]

- No babysitting, the idea is not to have the need for rules or ridged structure

- No officers, we would all be equal partners

Keep in mind, these are not Rules, only guidelines to the way I’d like to see us cooperating with one another, nothing here is hard and fast, I never want anyone to say “You said we had to bla bla bla”.

- Members should repair other member’s items for free. (It would be nice if someone who needs the repair have the required item, but not necessary. It’s more likely that the repair-er will have the item the repair-ee needs.)

- Create base items for one another synth’s.

- Members should create requested items for free for other members, but if you want something please provide all needed material and components (including crystals).

- No fault for failed synth’s.

- Trade, gathered & dropped items & crystals among one another, to match disciplines.

- Not mandatory, but here is where maturity comes in, if your generating Gil for items your LS members have provided you material for, you share the wealth. How much? Up to you, be fair, it’s only a game.

- Never assume, talk to one another, and let us know what you want. Always ask never demand.

- Everyone has a different playing style, don’t criticize.

I would be interested in joining. I am currently leveling Carpenter 13 and Fisher 13 mainly with an Archer a little behind. Looking more to concentrate on fishing and crafting however until more content is implemented in the storyline. Play most weekdays 6-10ish EST. 30+ y.o. name in game is Urvo Booey. 10 Botanist also.

Blacksmith Wanted

Recruiting is still open for a Blacksmith & Culinarian, and the group would really benefit now from the Blacksmith.

Heart of Gold is four members strong and I’m very excited about the future. We play independently, each member is working to level their respective craft(s), and I think the payoff is going to be down the road a bit maybe by level 21 or later. If you want to know more talk to one of our members:

Rysa, thanks for replying. I've created a list of replies for the future so if the LS expands I'll contact you if you still have interest then.

For now, that position is filled. I'm testing the LS waters and trying to keep it a small group, (I don't want to spend more time managing then I do playing) but if it works out we will grow. I'm in no hurry so moving this forward slowly.

Just another quick note so everyone knows we still want you.

Still looking for two more crafters (Cook & an Alchemist), to join the team. This is not a restrictive LS, you can have multiple pearls, and many different jobs, it’s just that you assist us with your crafting support, as the other team members will do for you.

Now you have someone to call on when you need raw materials, or a component part you are unable to make yourself. This also lets you focus on the crafting job you love the most. You just have to be pro-active, know what you need and seek out the help when you’re after something.

Because we are a small group, (currently 5 members, and seeking 2 additional crafters) you won’t get lost in the shuffle. We just ask that you share the riches of your efforts (how you see fit) with the other members who help you.

I challenge us all to strive to create items that require several disciplines of crafting at fairly high levels. This helps to demonstrate the power of a crafting partnership! (Understandably we are all new to the game and still working to raise our ever slowing level progression.)
