Bots (RMT) - Rabanastre server (was game=268) :: Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV, FF14)

Found two bots standing and killing warf rats for crystals and shards in southern part of skull camp area in a cave, the coords are 24/11 in the southeastern part. They have the exact same attack pattern and got just a bunch of letters as their names. They dont answer to whispers either. (Both are THM with starter gear).

Names are Dfjs Odks and Gkdos Udsk
rank 37 conjurers and 12 Thaumateurges, killing rats all day

i actually got a reply from GM. And not one of those done messages, it was written there and then :P I never said anything about third-party programs, but he told me for faster action to happen i should also report to special task force about third-party programs, which i now already had done :P thanks for the advice ^^

Really come on go lvl or craft or should I say go study.

I wouldn't wast my time reporting two ppl standing in a cave killing a few rats when I could be out lvling or exploring.

Catching gil farmers early is a good thing, and it's going to save us alot of grief, as the fewer the farmers, the less our economy will be screwed up in the long run. I think keeping an eye out for suspicious behavior is commendable, and will lead to a more honest community.

two new bots at exact same spot ... seems the bot has been upgraded .. but easy to see theire bots, they doesnt answer + they go in circles when no enemies are nearby. every 5 min or so one of them run a few yalms.

Already told you in game, I wasn't botting. I had 'say' filtered off, if my girlfriend hadn't have been able to see 'say' speech, I wouldn't have known you'd said anything.

Boy would you have looked silly in front of a GM :)

Didn't take screens, and I'm not sure they are RMT or not... but very suspicious. All in pairs of the same character model, all MRD with base clothing. All of them had some form of Rab in thier name. One pair of Hyur had Rabb XXXX (X= forgot name) and XXXX Rabb, and the pair of Miqote were Rabansitre XXXXX and Rab(?) Hellsing or something of the sort. I think there were 6 in all.

There were all running to the Adventurers guild together, didn't see them doing anything other than grabbing leves though.

I saw this spot being botted the first week and I reported them. Gm was like go tell someone else, I was like... Do you not care? Or all you can do is pass the buck. I was pissed I responded back to the GM , bad enough they ruined one game now you allow the same thing to happen to another. He then was a little more polite but still told meto go some place else. I was sort of turned off they cannot just as easily transfer the message. FIRST week though this spot was being botted though. They were rank 2 when i caught them, 2 day later they were rank 16ish, Nothing was done about it at the time it would seem.
