Hello All,

We have a nice social linkshell on Besaid and we are looking for members to join our community. We have a nice blend of crafters/gathers and others who do DoW/DoM too. All are welcome! Many of our members are EU/UK, but we also have several NA based members filling the ranks.

Below is our mission statement created by our leader:

Quote:

We have no requirements beyond a willingness to make friends and participate. We have no level requirements and no job requirements – all we have is a shared goal of a close-knit community of mature (and chatty!) adventurers to help each other; explore the world together; and create lasting friendships.

So for now, we are a casual Guild looking to welcome any like-minded adventurers out there with open arms. When more content becomes available, we aim to expand our goals to conquering new challenges laid before us: from battling the soldiers of Garlean Empire; to fearsome Notorious Monsters and beyond! ^^

We hope our strong community will help us all reach our goals, but bearing in mind "It’s not the destination it’s the journey".

- Elinas Myndraeg, Eorzean adventurer

If this all sounds appealing to you, let us know. You can contact one of our sackholders for information:

Elinas Myndraeg
Crimson Ardor
Istario Zantetsu
Richard Preston
Hugus Primvs

Or apply on our web site http://vagrantsrequiem.guildlaunch.com

Look forward to adventuring with YOU! ^^

Had a lot of interest over the past week or so, so the Guild is really starting to thrive :D

Remember, we're not looking for any classes or levels in particular - anyone who wants to have a good time is welcome =) Application is still required on the forums (linked above); just to show a small degree of committment^^

However, please be advised - this isn't a place we appreciate people grabbing a pearl, and popping on once a week to ask for something. We've been there, got that t-shirt. But dont let that put you off giving us a go - if you already have a main LS you find a bit drab sometimes, give us a go and maybe you'll find a new home!

Just giving an update to anyone that might be interested in joining.

Although initially the majority of us were centred around UK and GMT, with the lasrge influx of new people we extended the time zones that are usually busy in the LS.

We now have a nice enough number of people from the US, EU and middle East/Eastern Europe.

Although EU time is usually the busiest as you get the late people from GMT+3 and the early risers from US the LS is starting to get people at other times.

Quick update for everyone: We've now got a pretty decent core of around 30 active members. Lots of use are at or around level 20 and always looking to leve-link at the R20's and 30's. And of course, the 6-member officer core are all fairly proficient crafters, and we would love to welcome more crafter into the guild ^.^

We've obtained a ventrilo server free for all members to use recently, and it's been a scream over the weekend - so come join the fun here too!

As above, please make your application on the website above!

Due to a huge influx of people to the Linkshell Vagrants Requiem is now home to over 30 very active members with a total membership of close to 50 members. Because we were always looking not to have a uge number of random people but more of a comunity of friends and good aquantices we have had to change our application policy somewhat.

We have momentarilly put applications on hold so that we have the time to get to know our current membership better. We will still open exceptions to people which have been endorsed by a current Linkshell member and real life friends.

Apparently me joining was just the last straw for Hugus.

Boundaries had to be placed!

Indeed, lol.

If might not believe it but we had about 40 new people coming in within 3 weeks. Because of this we are taking some time to know people and making sure they know each other before we look up for more recruits.

Our website is up for maintenance this afternoon - but pending a a discussion with the current members, I hope to re-open recrutiment at the end of the month if all goes well. To prepare for this a new application will be arriving on the homepage shortly which will be available to everyone.

Between the new app going up and the end of Feb, interested people are encouraged to apply - we wont forget about an early app! But as Hugus said, we're gonna be a touch more fussy than we have been in the past - but only on personality/content/enthusiasm. We've no intention of dropping our no in-game requirements policy!

Look forward to receiving your app - remember, the app isn't a chore, its a chance to let us know about you and see if you'll fit in =)

After a couple weeks spent getting to know all the new people that came in the Linkshell, Vagrants Requiem is glad to anounce that we will be reopening our recruitting as of tonight 23/02/11 GMT.

At the moment we are mainly doing r30 leves for mid 20s range all through the week with a special day on Sunday and r40 leves for mid 30s on weekends. We also intend to have as many of our members as possible to take part in The First Annual Onion Race!!!

If you're looking for a friendly group of people to play along with, don't worry much about geting to r50 and getting all the end game done as soon as possible we might be the Linkshell for you!
