I don't think anywhere in my post that I stated that they themselves was doing it for the good of the game or its economy. Unless I'm clearly mistaken and said they was, which I pretty sure I didn't. Like I said, they are putting money into the game rather than creating it from NPCs, which does more good than bad FYI(Not as much gil in circulation keeping prices lower, more gil becomes into circulation the higher prices will go).
