Hello everyone,

I had posted my own Free Company as its own post here a few days ago and decided to browse around the forums a bit. Seems that a lot of the threads are still left over from 1.0. I was confused to start when I saw the servers listed. Both of the linkshell list posts I saw are server names that have since been merged into other servers. Hopefully I am not stepping on any toes by trying to get this started, but here we go.

This post will be a collective location for all Free Companies or Linkshells that will make their home on the Balmung server.

We are a close knit community of friends who have known each other for almost a decade. This linkshell was first established in FFXI on the Caitsith server by myself (Shawn) and a few of my friends in 2004. The goal of the linkshell was to be an endgame linkshell with a bit more of a laid back approach, and we were very successful. In FFXIV we tried to be an endgame linkshell, but, well there wasn't much of an endgame to participate in at the time. There are a few of us in the shell with a lot of experience from version 1.0, multiple 50s and things but we are more than willing to lend a helping hand for those who are fresh and new. We have experience with all of the endgame content of 1.0 (primal fights, CC/AV, etc) and we will be going back at it when 2.0 hits.

Sorry went on hiatus for a bit in updating this list. Work and trying to hit 50 took up most of my time.
