Hi. My guild and me had our first kill of normal Lei Shen yesterday. For some reason our Disc-Priest kept dying to the Static Shock ability. She normaly plays a Shaman healer and thus is not that well versed with Priests. I told her to glyph Fade for the 10% damage reduction, which helped a lot. Then I was unsure if the Glyph of Inner Sanctum would help too. Do Lei Shens abilities count as spell damage in this regard? Or is the effect of this Glyph for PvP and useless in PvE?

Edit because the German word for Disciplinepriest might be a bit confusing for non-Germans. Silly me. Smiley: oyvey

"Spell damage" counts as any damage type that's not explicitly Physical. This includes boss encounters. I myself like to run with that Glyph whenever I have an open slot, since damage reduction is always useful, and 6% is much more than you'd think, especially stacking on top of the Glyph of Fade.

So yeah, it works in PvE, and is actually pretty great for the Lei Shen fight.
