So i just got a new notebook with i7 and an ATI Radeon HD 6490M 1g dedicated memory and im trying to play FFFXIV.
However, its lagging on standard and high settings. Does anyone know how i can make it function with at least standard? Give me some tips or pointers!!!!

have you already tried updating the drivers? Also, its a laptop video card, so its not going to compete at the same level as the big computer video cards. There isn't enough heat dissipation capacity in a laptop for that. You might also want to check bios though and make sure your full amount of video memory is enabled.

How do I enable the full capacity of the memory on my video card?
