Which Graphics card is better?Follow

#1 Dec 05 2011 at 8:48 AM Rating: Decent
My current:

ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series

or

Radeon HD 6670 (EAH6670)

I know I'm asking the obvious here but is it a good enough of a step up to warrant upgrading to 6670?

Radeon HD 6670 (EAH6670)

About 160 more steam processors, it has ddr5 memory as opposed to the 4600 which according to amd varies between ddr2 and ddr3.

Just overall the 6670 is a better card.

You can try comparing them here.

Assuming your current card is a 4670, it's not enough of a boost to see a significant difference (according to the chart). But I may have your card wrong so take a look yourself.

Bears in mind asking as well - which game are you playing? You may not see much of a performance boost with the low-enders like WoW or FFXI, but the newer more hi-rez games may have some performance benefit with the better card.

I have the 6670, and it's really good. I can run most games on almost maxed out settings. I defiantly suggest upgrading to the 6670.
