I'm looking for a quick upgrade on my old pc. Just want to max the RAM till i can afford a new build.
Mainboard is MSI MS-7365 (I2 P35 Neo combo series) Here's were I get confused. It has 2 DDR2 DIMM slots 4 GB max and 2 DDR3 DIMM slots 4GB Max. Is my best bet to ignore the DDR2 slots entirely and stick 2GB in each of the DDR3 slots? or just stick one stick of 4GB in one of the DDR3 slots?

Bleh, tired, and didn't read that right. Told you I'm not as sharp.

Two sticks would have technically better throughput.
