im having trouble figuring out this html stuff, wanting to add a little flair to some of my posts and etc but i cant quite get it figured out. mainly i just want to be able to hyperlink to youtube videos and etc. this is the closest iv been able to get

it gives a clickable link but its obviously not correct, anyone got any pointers?

still showing the [link stuff on beginning and end, i guess it works but still doesnt seem fully streamlined.
also with this format is there a way to change the visable text, like instead of having all the watch?v=dpmy7Ze18NY&NR=1 junk to just make the blue link say FFXIV VS WOW, or whatever else u choose?

If you look at Bard's example the second "www.example.com" is where you would place your alternate text.
So [link= http://www.example.com] Demostration [/link] becomes Demostration.

awesome, i tried the url button thing once before but i guess i was too dense to realize the blue part it highlights is where you type in your own info. thanks guys, i really appreciate the help.

He's cranky enjoy the Out Of Topic for what it is, just don't ask what is it. For future reference, there is also a Site and Forum Feedback, that you can post link, signature, or other account related questions and get generally more thorough answers.
