This is a real commercial. This is something they show as advertising.

It's probably just an internet ad. I don't think they'd show the full 2 minutes on TV.

I skipped through it. Something about a chick being raped, then she magically transforms into Sailor Windows and gets in a spaceship. Star wipe to the IE logo.

There's not enough "Internet Explorer"-tan stuff on the rule 34 sites... only two images freshly uploaded.

****, that was actually really cool. That's some different advertising there. Still not using IE. Because...well...IE.

Chrome and that stupid cookie game fought an epic battle on my desktop. It was over in the blink of an eye but neither survived. I didn't feel like re-installing Chrome so I'm using IE again at home. It's not been too bad yet.

I'm not sure that's an entirely accurate description. At the very least, it seems misleading to characterize it as regular advertising. The channel "internetexplorer" on Youtube describes it as "created by Microsoft Singapore, dedicated to all anime fans worldwide in celebration of Anime Festival Asia (AFA) 2013". If anything, it sounds like it's at best like those special commercials that some companies do during the Olympics.

Still pretty cool, though. And I'd probably watch that anime, especially if it was made by a third party and included the other Browser/OS-tans.

Chrome is the cool one, firefox the nerdy one and TOR is a creepy dude who never shows his face.

Well, that and changing my work password since for some reason that part of the site doesn't work on Chrome or Firefox.
