Never understood those pure cheese sandwiches. Like a hot dog without the sausage.

Grats on the ding and the cheese cart, though.

Well, I mean, you slather the bread with butter and cook it.

Grilled cheese is us pretending that it's not a fried cheese sandwich, because that's what it is.

That's uncooked, home-cured canadian bacon.
You should photo it on something besides the stained pan.

I only saw three grilled cheese sandwiches on that menu, and I was being generous. Anything other than cheese between the breads invalidates it. That said, most of those sound like really good sandwiches.

I had never thought of a King's Hawaiian grilled cheese, but now it's something I'm going to have to make here at home.

Hence our name being "Melts Without Borders". Emphasis on the Melt.
The title led me to believe it would be grilled cheeses, and dammit, I'm cranky about grilled cheeses.

And I want about four of them right now.

There's a great grilled cheese truck around here. They make one called the Sith Lord, which is something like cheese, bacon, peanut butter, and sriracha. Sounds disgusting, but it's really awesome.

A grilled cheese sandwich with lava inflicted wounds on it?

How can a grilled cheese be done wrong?

Also, grilled cheese with tomato soup would be amazing right now.

Food is difficult to photograph well, it doesn't matter much for this but if you want photos of your sandwiches, do the smart thing and hire a photographer (preferably one specialized in food photography). Those badly lit, messy photos of food you usually see in food carts are damn near enough to put me off the food.

My daughter has done a couple of food shoots - menus and web pics. She claims food is her favorite subject to photograph - and she gets to eat her models afterwards.

I'm also reasonably sure that in one of the Worst Cooks episodes, someone actually attempted to grill cheese. As in, placing slices of cheese on a grill. Needless to say, that didn't work so well.

What are you talking about, that works great and is delicious. It's not a sandwich, but still fantastic.

Whenever I made grilled cheese as a kid, after the sandwich was done I'd place a slice of cheese in the pan, and let it turn into a delicious crispy cheese wafer.
