And I'll be going home, at least for some time. I've been living in a hotel for almost five months now for work. (Minus four days for Thanksgiving and a week for Christmas).

Then I'll have to use 20someodd vacation days up before the end of May.

And get back on watching what I eat cause I gained almost 10 lbs over this stay... definitely don't want to start gaining back all that weight I lost a couple years ago.

Attentive as I am to the goings-on of the OoTers, I should know what you do for a living...but I don't.Smiley: frown

What job keeps you in a hotel that long?

Electrical Engineer. It was a big project. We had a few guys from Europe over working with us for a few months too.

Congratulations, I'm jealous. I've still got a couple months+ before I can stay home on a more permanent basis.

Job well done. Do you get to stay home and work now, or will you get sent off again?

I'll probably get to stay home for a couple months. Then around June some time I'll be head back for a short time.

Who knows where they may want to send me in the mean time or after though. The company is growing like crazy. Probably will end up in Mexico for a short time before the year is over. And maybe hop over to Ohio and/or California as well.

I just have to find another reason for them to send me over to Europe. Nothing like an all expense paid trip to Italy. (It was only 4 days... but was still interesting).

I think I spoke too soon.

4 days before I planned on departing the guy I've been training and showing how we do things for the last 4 months or so decides to put in his two weeks notice.

I still plan on leaving when I was going to, but this definitely will shorten the time I get to stay home before I have to turn around and come back.
