I'm painting our entryway this weekend - my color palette We'll see how well Innocence stands up to Sandstove Cove.

Also, I might get ESO. I dunno. I go through this whenever there is a big new game release. I feel left behind if I'm not there playing from the start. Lotro is boring as hell atm.

Also, I'm due to consume a good bottle of wine after marathon menstruation battle.

You?

He did post that link twice. I bet it leads to an ESO firm out of Calcutta.

I'm zoo-keeping for three 15 year boys at a hotel this weekend. My mother does events stuff and one of the hotels on her client list is a place my older child thought would be cool to stay at. So she got him a room there as a birthday gift and he has a couple friends coming along for swimming, pizza, Playstation, etc. I'm not too worried since he's done work there with my mom so I know he'll reasonably behave but there's still no way we're leaving three teens unsupervised all night. As male authority figure, the honor falls on me.

You gotta make sure that they don't pay the hookers too much, right?

I'm not sure what sort of hooker you could get with their available funds but I'm pretty sure a Lysol dip would be in order afterward.

This weekend we're apparently supposed to go visit my wife's mother and brother, which we must have forgotten about. Sunday I hope to get a kayak in the water. The local marina still isn't open (though they're getting the docks out now) so I might have to go out to Wappinger Lake instead.

Today, though, started out all kinds of horrible. The two year old was up all night with nastiness flowing freely from both ends. The six year old whined and cried about having to go to school. I had to take my work truck in for transmission work and got a dinky little billboard on wheels for a loaner. I just finished cleaning up the mud pit of a crib, hosed the little one down, and now am bleaching the tub while running laundry. And now, I have to ****.

Condolences on the sick kid. Mine has taken up climbing out of bed at night, building a nest on the floor out of blankets and sleeping on it. I suppose so long as he's sleeping, more power to him.

Yeah, I don't know how that happened. He's in school!

Thanks.

Thom will occasionally sleep on the couch downstairs, then wake up all freaked out and come up to bed at like 4am.

Food shopping, cleaning up the mess the house has become, trying desperately to keep the kids entertained, catching up on sleep, and of course disappearing blissfully into Rift for a few hours while I pretend all those other things don't exist.

Working, Diablo 3, Hearthstone, watching my nephew, job hunting. Should probably get some cleaning and food shopping done, too.

Oh yeah, and two sets of power outlets in my kitchen are dead, though no circuit tripped. These outlets happen to run, among other things, the coffee maker and toaster. These two devices are now sitting on the stove, accessing another power outlet.

Oh yeah, plans for the weekend. I discovered how to get to the DLC in Borderlands 2 and cases of my favourite cheap beer were on sale so that and painting walls are pretty much my plans for the weekend.

My weekend will be spent making jewelry and playing CivV, with time out to enjoy my tiny garden and the crocus and snow drops are in bloom.

I just updated my Facebook page for Elne Clare Designs yesterday, with photos of both recent work and photos of most of the jewelry I though worth taking photos off last year. There are other photos I could share, but then it would take forever to upload.
