I find this whole conversation about which side of the freezing lake is better to live on amusing.

I've been to Buffalo. It's a fucking ********* I mean, seriously, people in Detroit should have shirts printed that read "Hey, at least it's not Buffalo". That said, I'd much rather live there than San Diego. San Diego would be a great place to live if everyone who currently lives in the San Diego area was suddenly killed. If there were some sort of rain that fell that only poisoned douchebags or something, it might be ok.

We're back to 40's and 50's with rain. You people can keep your cold.

For me, there is no weather more miserable than upper 30s or low 40s with rain. Granted, I've never seen more than an inch of accumulated snow, so...
Low-30's with rain and wind, that's gotta be my least favorite. Not cold enough to snow, so you just get wet, and there's probably hidden ice in places on top of that. Not enough ice where you can stay home and say it's dangerous of course, just enough to make you slip and fall on the sidewalk.

**** that. Rain means its not snowing. I'll take rain any day over snow and the effect it has on drivers and their level of retardation.

Snow means you call in to work and say "there's snow I'm working at home" then play video games all day.

Or so I'm told... Smiley: um

Well I'm in New Orleans and in my lifetime it's only snowed 3 times. Other than that, it's only gotten cold enough to snow another 3-4 times. So normally, mid to upper 30s and rain is the worst weather we get. Other than hurricanes, of course.

While you're at it, why don't you tell us all how much you'd hate to have a large penis too.

No. I think that people rationalize choices they make by exaggerating the negatives of the choices they didn't make.

Funny.

I initially figured I'd just write a clear response to your specific question about a choice of where to live. Then realized that you'd probably respond with some BS about choosing penis size. Then considered writing the modified version above. Then decided I wasn't going to muddle the heck out of the sentence just to coddle someone's intentional misunderstanding of a pretty clear and obvious point.

Good job not disappointing me though. You are nothing if not predictable.

Yes. Because they constantly exaggerate the danger of free religion, and free speech, and the right to own firearms, and the right to teach your own children what you want, and the right to decide whether to get immunized, or the lack of free health care, or free food, or free housing, or...

See the pattern here? The entire liberal political methodology revolves around exaggerating the danger of not adopting their ideology. What's funny is that on some level, I suspect it's a form of "misery loves company". At some point, people grow up, leave never never land, and realize that liberal ideas don't work. Then one of two things happen. They either become conservative and live happy lives from that point on, or they refuse to accept that they were wrong, double down on their liberal positions, and expend serious effort trying to indoctrinate young people to their positions so that they don't end out alone in their misery and wrongness. And then the cycle of abuse continues.

Or at least, that's how I'm selling it!

You do have the right to not get immunized; the state and any private party has the right to keep you off their property if you're not. I don't see a problem if you chose to be a festering petri dish of filth as long as you stay away from the rest of us.
