Chicago has a tradition of "dibs" so I'll side with the Boston guy.

Your spot is yours for 48 hours after you shovel it out. It's all official & **** thanks to former Boston Mayor Menino.

I miss Menino. Walsh is alright, but no way Menino would have put up with the MBTAs ******** this winter.

Guy deserved to get his car buried. The NY plates are just a bonus.

I call dibs on a place by just leaving my car there and taking the bus instead.

Maybe live somewhere where you a) own your own spot, or b) don't have to shovel snow.

I've a garage as well. I'm not sure that shoveling off a hundred twenty feet of driveway beats clearing ten feet of curb though. I guess at least no one else parks in my spot. Smiley: smile

Lol. Yeah. I'm sure the folks living in gang ridden ghettos say the same thing about both of us. Just a matter of perspective, isn't it?

If you need to equate some snow and manual labor to "gang ridden ghettos", you're even softer than I thought Smiley: laugh

If you need to defend your less desirable living conditions by using the same arguments that folks stuck living in gang ridden ghettos use, then maybe you need to think about moving.

If you'd said "here's a list of great things about living here that make up for the suck that is shoveling snow", you'd have a great response. But just saying "you're soft if you can't handle living here" when someone points out the whole snow shoveling issue is not a terribly great advertisement for living there. I'm sure folks in Detroit or Pittsburgh say similar things, so why don't you go live there? You'd prove just how tough you are, right? Heck. While you're at it, why not move to some third world country? Or are you too soft?

Lol... Silly argument.

Defend? I was just laughing at you acting like it was some big thing. Shit, I've zero interest in convincing you that moving outside of San Diego is a good thing. You should totally stay right there.

We haven't had noteworthy snow for a couple weeks now. You want to save that line for Smash who I assume has been eaten by a musk ox or something by now.

Don't listen to him, gbaji. You should totally move to, or near, the Salton Sea State Recreation Area.

It's good exercise. But I'd guess that silly little fucks like yourself would rather pay to go to a gym.

We converted the garage and a lot of the basement into a full apartment and rent it out for 1500 a month. Smiley: thumbsup
