-- the last two or three of you that still accidentally look at these pages.

I got mine some flowers, and more importantly the wifebeing a shiny bauble and as many pancakes as you can make with a two gallon bottle of milk. I figure with my spawn's help that should be like four or five.

I'm taking my mom out for supper, but not this weekend, as it is full of family things.

Joke's on you, Mother's day is on a different day in my country.

So, last one or two.

We're all pitching in to send my mom's dogs to the groomers, because that's what she asked for. Also, breakfast outside the house.

Did you tell the groomer to shave little hearts in the dogs' furs?

I got my mom a bunch of yellow tomato plants, and a gift certificate for a manicure.

My babies' mommy asks for so many different things and then goes and buys them herself off Amazon that I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be getting for her. I'll just be making half a dozen different things for breakfast in the hopes that something pleases her.

I didn't do crap because I'm more or less trapped at home with no car(it's in the shop). I handed money to my sister and let her handle it. No idea what she did beyond that. Smiley: tongue

Okay, but I got my mom's vet to give her Himalayan cat a lion cut once. It was hilarious, just sayin'.

That had to be a pretty great reaction.

Well, she got the cat's fur clipped every summer anyway, due to fleas and heat and what not. We just made it fancy!

The cat's reaction was the best part. She kinda had a Grumpy Cat thing going on, anyway, and the fuzz ball on the end of her tail seemed to annoy her even more.

I guess I should get my mother something, she likes Yankee candle. I won't be getting anything from my husband though, he's had more strokes and is back in the hospital. Tomorrow will just be another fun-filled day of rehab for him, wheee.

That is a good look for the Pom! And yep, that's pretty much exactly how my mom's Himalayan looked. She was not amused.

I got a copy of the latest Night at the Museum movie for my mom. (She mentioned wanting to see it). I meant to give it to her Tuesday at a dinner we had because she's leaving Monday to go see her sister. But I'll give it to her tomorrow.

So, my mom really wants a bracelet or ring with her birthstone, mine, my brothers, and I assume my Dad's as well (though she didn't specifically mention it).

Won't need to be for Mother's Day, since her Birthday and her Anniversary are both in two weeks. (Ya, Mother's Day, Birthday, and Anniversary all in the span of a couple weeks).

I just have no idea where to find jewelry...

Note to self: Avoid "major" chain restaurants on Mother's Day.. Every where was packed. I'm waiting to see if it will be the same for Father's Day. I assume it will be vastly different.

You'll need to avoid Steakhouses, bars, and strip clubs on that day.

Which one is the one with the charm bracelet that looks like something you'd get a preteen? With the unicorns and soccer balls and other assorted charms?

Edit: Preteen?
