Gonna somewhat agree with the first comment on that article and not the article itself. I think that a society like Canada is a great breeding ground for groups like IS. It's a society that will fall over itself trying to accommodate whatever increasingly intrusive demands a social movement like radical Islam will make. Eventually, forcing the very conflict that they desire or transforming the free and diverse society into one that is no longer either free or diverse.

Tolerance for intolerance is not really tolerance at all. It's just capitulation. I just think folks like the author of that piece just don't get that "being nice" to the other guy doesn't work if the other guy's goals aren't to be nice back. It's a classic mistake to judge the other guys actions by assuming he's just like you are and has the same objectives. You want to live in a peaceful society full of diversity and respect for others, but he does not. IS doesn't look at Canada and think "OMG! We can't handle that." The look at Canada and think "they're easy prey because they're practically offering to give us what we want. Suckers!".

Hardly nightmare worthy. More like wet dream.

Wow. That's amazing. I'm not really surprised that Gbaji is getting all excited by the strawman that comment was though.

I read this in William Shatners voice. You're welcome.

For some reason when I read "William Shatner" I immediately thought of Sean Connery instead. Then I remembered who both of them were. Yeah I'm tired. I'm going to read everything in Sean Connery's voice now.

Yahoo News asked Trump whether his push for increased surveillance of American Muslims could include warrantless searches. He suggested he would consider a series of drastic measures.

“We’re going to have to do things that we never did before. And some people are going to be upset about it, but I think that now everybody is feeling that security is going to rule,” Trump said. “And certain things will be done that we never thought would happen in this country in terms of information and learning about the enemy. And so we’re going to have to do certain things that were frankly unthinkable a year ago.”

Yahoo News asked Trump whether this level of tracking might require registering Muslims in a database or giving them a form of special identification that noted their religion. He wouldn’t rule it out.

“We’re going to have to — we’re going to have to look at a lot of things very closely,” Trump said when presented with the idea. “We’re going to have to look at the mosques. We’re going to have to look very, very carefully.”

After Dubya and Black Bush, I have lost faith that next president will do anything substantially different.

He's now backtracking on the whole mandatory registry and ID cards thing, because for some strange reason people just aren't agreeing.

Standard Trump move. He's done that on practically everything. Ironically, the individual who said the president shouldn't be a Muslim (Carson), is the same person who is saying that we shouldn't discriminate based on religion.

If the election continues at this rate, I can't see how a GOP candidate can win by offending every demographic group. So when Hillary get's 90%+ of the Hispanic, Asian, Black and Muslim vote, there are going to be the Gbajis saying that the Democrats brainwashed them with free stuff as opposed to accepting the fact that the GOP is insulting. It's actually pretty sad, because I believe the GOP has concepts that can be accepted by everyone.

There is still plenty of opportunity for terror attacks between now and this time next year.

They've realized that threatening the rednecks should provoke the kind of responses that will bring in the conservative administration they need to continue their cause.

Well, after supporting the people who assaulted a black lives matter protester at one of his rallies Trump is now posting the kinds of false Memes on twitter that got Curt Schilling suspended.

If you're brave, the comments may be even worse than what you regularly find on foxnews....

Freedom of speech is fine when they're saying something he agrees with, but when they're saying something Trump disagrees with ("Black lives matter") beatings are fine.

Imagine the outrage on Fox if Kim Davis had been glitter bombed, lol.

Given what he's said thus far in the campaign, I can't imagine it will significantly impact his poll numbers, but The Donald is now on record saying that we should ban all Muslims from the US.

I mean, other than being pernicious, xenophobic, racist, and blatantly unconstitutional to boot, what could possibly go wrong?
