That can't be right. We were assured that he knows words. He has the best words.

Maybe he just doesn't use them often, you know part of "art of the deal" stuff we keep hearing about. Someone said he was good at that. Telling foreign leaders what they can and can't say must be part of it.

lulz

Also, Murkowski got to assign the Senate pro forma sessions designed to deny Trump any recess appointments while Congress is at the beach for the next month.

Here's to making it worse: they'll be staying at Chris Christie's beachhouse.

The vacation is really for those hard working lobbyists. They need to go back to their employers and get a bunch more of those big sacks with "$" printed on them, fill them with money, and then bring them back to D.C.

Senator Johnson (R-WI) says that McCain probably voted against the "skinny repeal" bill because of his brain tumor. Not in a "Having a major life threatening illness shaped McCain's opinions about the accessibility of affordable medical care" way, of course. He means it in the "McCain only voted like he did because his brain is damaged" way.

At 62 he's just new to the retirement village and hoping to nab McCain's chair in the rec room when they ship him off to a hospice center.

Guess they should have thought about that whole preexisting condition thing before clearing him to vote.

So a Coast Guard, Air Force, and Three Army active-duty soldiers walk into a bar are suing the administration over the possible-and-not-even-policy transgender ban tweet.

Should have it fight the giant inflatable duck. You can't have multiple giant monsters roaming around the world without some kind of deathmatch happening.

He should fight the wacky inflatable wavy arm tube guy. Smiley: thumbsup

True to form, Fearless Leader of Pottsylvania has decided to lay all the blame for not making any progress on that amazing most bestest panacea repeal and replacement thing on that turtle from Looney Toons, Mitch McConnell. Kind of expected, considering the man regularly blamed anyone else for his own failing businesses.

The fact the book was named the "art"of the deal not the "logic" of the deal is pretty telling. You can only get so far by painting mustaches on pictures of your rivals

A thought that crossed some minds up here in Canada:

Is the news/soundbites/twitter daily barrage of the Trump presidency really the meat of what is going on, or is it the distraction to keep attention from deeper/other machinations?

Pretty much all those tweets he sends out for the media to play with are there to distract.

Talking about Russia too much? "Trans folk cost the military too much money, no more!" Watch the media go into panic mode, sit back and relax for a few days.

Pretty much. Although I think people tend to put too much stock in the "3D Chess!" theories. We'd rather comfort ourselves by thinking that we're being manipulated by a master plan than come to terms with chaos at the upper tiers of government.

I don't worry too much about the tweets. Trump can tweet and people can flip out one way or the other so long as Mueller and his band of lawyers are doing their job.

They're not the meat, but they're not really all that distracting either.

Well the World now knows how Trump feels about ****'s. Ne confirmed that yesterday's statement wasn't what he wanted to say.

If he had his way last Saturday, I think he would have defended the Alt-Right and put all the blame on the left.
