I'm sure the War on Piracy will be as successful endeavor as the War on Drugs, the War on Terror, and No Child Left Behind.

Our problem isn't that we don't want to pay for it.

That, and the companies that provide "official" translations usually butcher ****, change ****, and leave out otherwise important subtle nuances because they don't think the English audience would appreciate simply leaving certain things in and explaining them with footnotes, even though most of us actually prefer it that way...

After Bacchus bet, it was certain he'd win, but he got to win in a fairly entertaining take on the bruiser fight.

Of course this begs the question "doujin when?"

Well, it was obvious Elfman was going to win, if only because if he'd lost then Fairy Tail Team A would have been eliminated and they can stretch this storyline much longer. Even so, that was a great way and well thought out method for him to win.

I also want Itagaki to fight Ippo, damnit.

Elfman; teaching us how to properly take it LIKE A MAN!

It also had a pretty decent set up with both winning and losing being predictable; Obviously elfman wanted to win to keep bacchus away from his sisters, but bacchus is on the same level of strength as Erza, if not higher. I honestly expected them to draw, lol.

This just in: Audience left rubbing forehead muttering "duh" at newest Bleach chapter. Also, Itachi and Kabuto have an Emo-Off to try the lull the audience into a false sense of interest. In One Piece, Nami and Sanji trade minds, obvious hilarity ensues. One panel judged funnier than all of the "comedic" attempts in Bleach combined. All this and more on the 11 o'clock News.

Yamamoto is ****** pissed. Sanji -> Nami -> Franky -> Chopper -> Sanji = hilarity, I love seeing "chopper" acting like franky when he's in serious hardass mode. Also Smoker and Tashigi switched bodies. Smoker with a big ol' cigar in Tashigi's body is probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Also, this week in Reborn!... Team Reborn and Team Verde tag team the vindice they're fighting and seem to completely annihilate them in one gigantic combined attack that we all know wouldn't actually work. They managed to... blow their cloaks and hats away, revealing the actual appearance of vindice members for the first time. Apparently they're (possibly failed, like lal) Arcobaleno zombies. Or something.

I can haz fairy tail nao plx?

Fairy Tail Bikini Fight. Smiley: inlove

And if anyone is interested, a new Shaman King series has just begun. Seeing as how I enjoyed the first, including the downright weird turn it takes about three quarters in, I can't wait for this one to pick up steam.

Is it an actual series, or are you talking about the "before the tournament" back-stories that were being released over the past few months?

Nope, time skip a decade or so with Yoh's kid, Hana. Shaman King: Flowers

The first chapter makes it appear like it's going to be a lengthy read. Eventually. It's a first chapter, though. So you can pretty much guess it's just introductory.

The fact that Hana's future wife looks a lot like Anna is giving me that "Family Bonding" vibe.

The first chapter has been out for a few months. I guess it was a preview chapter since they haven't released any new chapters since then. Will they actually be starting the series now? I've been really looking forward to it continuing.

For the record, Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece were boring this week. One Introduction of BigBadoftheWeek, one continuation of origin story that I'm willing to bet no one really cares about, and ... whatever it is Bleach does. Something about societal genocide and the Captain Commander being a douche to no one's surprise.

I admit, I hadn't actually looked at the date. I had just found a link ... somewhere, and it lead me there and as I'd not seen anything about it anywhere else I just kind of went in that direction. It was released year ago. I already want more. Smiley: crymore

Naruto: Continuation of Kabuto's backstory that like gaxey said, no one cares about except for kabuto fangirls, if those even exist.
Bleach: Nothing eventful. Mayuri got reaffirmed as a sociopath who fights for balance, and the final badguy of the series is heavily hinted at being someone of the same level of skill as Yamamoto, the thus far identified strongest character in the series. Shocking. We can already see how this will go down. Yamamoto will fight him and get killed, we probably won't get to see his bankai (*completionisticrage Smiley: glare*) and then Ichisue Kuromary (Marygo would be an insult to Merrygo, something I refuse to do) will get some sort of super powered final form that pushes his hollow powers up another level and beats this guy. Kubo'll probably kill off a couple of other big characters, too.
One Piece: Basically just a bit of an explanation of who this arc's bad guy is, and also Oda confirming what almost everyone suspected; the eleven supernovas made themselves into big players in the two year skip. My guess is most of them will end up fighting against luffy, with a couple teaming up with him. I could see maybe X-Drake doing that. Law's just gonna keep doing his own sh*t, Smiley: lol
Reborn!: Vindice sans robes = power up. Flan's gender brought into question via translators using she/her instead of he/him, which I thought was precedent up until now, since flan was pretty obviously a dude in the anime. Oh, and chrome shows up.

On a better note; Kurosh*tsuji/Black Butler came out too, and that was a pretty decent chapter, given that it's the second one in for the arc.

Now where the @#%^ is my Toriko and why the hell do the english subbers/translaters seem to hate the manga/anime so much? Smiley: motz

Also, apparently, Mangareader has a second site for US readers. or something. Looks exactly the same, but has a different name, and I can actually read jump manga.

Prediction for the end of Bleach: The final Big Bad is the Soul King him/her/itself, and the entire series was just about the King training Ichigo to be the replacement by putting him up against every major faction in that universe. Aizen got his orders directly from the Soul King, and was able to recruit Tosen with that information.

You also forgot to note that in this week's One Piece we learn that Smoker has a nice rack.

Wasn't Aizen working to kill the Soul King, though? And hasn't the Soul King been referred to as "it"?

Of course, this is working off the completely ridiculous theory that Kubo is going to stick to what he's written in the past.

All part of the Soul King's plan, gotta make it look good to have Ichigo dedicate himself to the task at hand.

Kind of an eerie coincidence, but here's chapter one of Shaman King: Flowers. Chapter two should appear in two and a half years.
