I suppose Tarquin will use his psion (or some caster in his employ) to port/gate the Order to the final gate. If he doesn't want the villain to win, Xylon already has the head start there and he knows that V can't teleport.

They should be fine. If I've learned anything from rpgs and movies it's that evil travels really slow when it isn't actively going after the characters.

Well, obviously they're fine from a narrative standpoint. The next comic isn't going to be Xykon taking over the world (or Redcloak handing the gate over to his deity). But the same narration requires a perceived need for haste, lest the audience think "Eh, no reason to worry about the bad guys".

Yeah, it was pretty projected but I expected it down the road, not immediately.

They're definitely getting more regular now with the new artist. D'you like the 1st, 2nd or current artist the most?

I don't care who draws it as long as they can keep at least a semi-regular schedule. I don't blame Xin, I just want some damn comic.

Same as Pold, though if I had to pick an artist it would probably be Xin. Jamie gave Erfworld its unique style, but I feel like Xin's art was better by the end. She really evolved from the start of to the end of book 2. I'm not a huge fan of the new guy's style, honestly.

But still, comic is comic.

I think Xin's is the best out of the three too, but it's also clearly incredibly time intensive. The new guy's is pretty good for something completely hand drawn coming out so quickly, although I do think it's kind of telling that he's not showing us an updated look of Wanda's face yet. Smiley: lol

Dun dun DUNN!!

With Nale disintegrated, I suppose he's gone-gone except for perhaps a cameo in hell. Burlow has stated before that he hates the concept of True Resurrection as a spell and especially as a narrative device and it's simply not available in the OotS universe. And I can't see a whole side plot about someone acquiring access to a Wish spell.

I was expecting an eventual resurrection. I still am, I just was as well. I imagine either another villain being introduced that basically is Nale, short of actually being Nale himself, or Nale's spirit possessing other bodies and continuing from there.

Neither of us got spoilers right. Smiley: um
