Maybe game, maybe movie. Probably game. Watch it quick, it dies pretty quick.

Did you see the clip?

Ryan Reynolds is ok for romantic comedies or even comedic cop-movies, but he just doesn't seem to have the trappings of a super-hero.

Fox keeps knocking them down, but it's out and there's no stopping it. I'll keep editing in new ones. Here's an article about it.

Ryan did okay as Wade in the Origins movie, and I've always found he is pretty good at delivering snark and sarcasm, so it really depends on the script.

Whoever titled that "Movie trailer" doesn't understand the concept of test footage.

Allegedly, this was made a couple years ago and was shown Comic-con last year or the year before, and is just now leaking its way out.

A reddit user posted some decent speculation that with the movie being in development hell for so long, this was "leaked" as a final test of interest before Fox decides to either drop it or go all in. They sure are trying hard to keep this thing under wraps, though. All in all, I thought it was pretty good myself. Cheesy in parts, but very obviously a work in progress.

2011 I believe, but Fox is really going out of it's way to take down these videos, and there was some update in status early this month on at least it's IMDB page. Maybe they're actually moving on it. If they are, I kind of hope they get Ryan to play and voice him, but get Nolan North to do the internal monologue.

Or better yet, Bruce Campbell.

LIES

Edit:
Seems to work now.
I couldn't make out his little note in the first posted videos. But in the official one it's very clear. A crude image of him cutting off the guy's head. I laughed, a lot better when I could actually make out what he was saying the whole time.

This ones working. Yes it's 10 times better when you can actually see and hear the jokes.

Yeah, I read about it last night. Blur, the studio that did it, officially let the cat out of the bag. Still not exactly sure what to think about it in terms of what'll the results be or the why and such, but the here and now is pretty cool. It looks like a scene from the leaked script a few years back, it's Ryan's voice, and it seems to be just avoiding the Waypool syndrome which is always good.

I kind of hope it's like a reverse Green Lantern as far as Deadpool is concerned. A regular costume, but a CG mask to over-exaggerate the facial expressions since he'll probably wear it 99% of the movie. Wishful thinking.

I still want Bruce narrating an actual movie.

They really do. When it comes to CG shorts and cutscenes, they're probably the best in the industry.

They're handling the cutscenes for the Halo re-release. It looks so @#%^ing good.

Blur Studios is awesome. Their work on the Elder Scrolls Online trailers was amazing.

Don't get your hopes up, Fox isn't throwing $ at R rated "superhero" movies starring Ryan Reynolds anytime soon. You can thank Green Lantern & RIPD for that (not because they were rated R, cause they weren't, but if they had done well than the chances of Deadpool happening would be higher).

About the only way I see it happening is if they introduce him in another movie, or animate it.

Looked good to me, but I'm not as well versed in the comics as others on this forum. I came here to post this, but saw it was already posted.
