She missed her window when the auditions for Elektra ended.

While I would like to see her in tight pants (as the article puts it) I'd prefer her not having a leading role. If she makes an appearance as a super-powered side-character, for example in Civil War or Guardians 2, it might even work.

The content of the story? Or the writing of the author? This one kills me:

Quote:
Marvel has had a lot of female superheroes, whose respective roles were taken on by big name Hollywood actresses including Hally Berry for X-Men’s Storm, Jessica Alba as Sue Storm / Invisible Woman of the Fantastic Four, and Scarlett Johannson as Black Widow of the Avengers. Black Widow will be debuting in the upcoming “Avengers: Age of Ultron” movie showing on May 1, 2015.

Sigh...

The author was pretty crap, true, but the content mostly. Lopez is a pretty lousy actor. I mean, remember her last movie? Of course not, no one saw it. And not only is she bad, she's also expensive so any chance of a quality supporting cast gets jeopardized. The worst though is that some nutcase upper management twit is going to remember that she's also a singer so they'll tack on a song for her. Probably disguise it as a karaoke scene.

And then there's the long-term, with reports like this even if they're rumors I can't imagine how that'd play out when she's forced to play second banana to Tony Stark and Captain America.

She can stick to Lifetime Movies about how she's raped by a young man who finds her so irresistible he can help but become crazy obsessed.

The bad thing about becoming a popular genre is that once you're popular everyone wants to become a part of your world. If anything, she could probably get a role in Daredevil. As his walking stick.

I admit to only have seen her in Snow White and to know she was in those Twilight movies. Someone somewhere on the internet argued she is actually a talented actress which I found hard to belief. But then my research into that matter was not very thorough.

Someone somewhere on the internet also regularly argues that evolution is just a theory, the world is only 5,000 years old, and that Obama is actually a lizard alien.

To be fair, we have yet to see conclusive proof that that last one is false.

Apart from Sansa I don't know them. Only going from the looks Storm seems like a good fit. Cyclops less so.

By movie actor looks alone:

I'd say all three seem to look the part of playing their movie counterparts' younger versions.

I'm almost certain that she goes with the female bodies not because of an affinity towards them but tactical.

Today Netflix suggested to me, Ghost in the Shell: Arise. Other than the first movie and the GitS:SAC (first series? Was there more season/series of SAC?), I hadn't see anything. So I started watching Arise, it only had 3 episodes, made it through two. In this show it said that she never had a human body. Her mother and father were killed while the mother was still pregnant with her, and some scientist took the brain from the fetus before she was born. Not sure how all these things fit together in the Ghost in the Shell "Universe".

Random Thought: Jackie Chan Avengers

Jackie = Captain America
Uncle = Dr. Strange
Jade = Wasp
Tohru = Hulk
Viper = Black Widow
El Torro = Falcon
Paco = Ant Man
Captain Black = Nick Fury
Super Moose = Thor
Kepler (Section 13 Tech Guy) = Iron Man

Keep in mind it's (allegedly) Mohawk punk Storm, which is my favorite version of her.

Back on MCU, looks like Marvel is courting Chiwetel Ejiofor for a role in Dr. Strange. Speculations abound. For the record, I'd go with either Mordo or Voodoo.

Not a big surprise but now it's official. Daniel Brühl will be playing Baron Zemo.

Edit: After I posted I followed your link and it reminded me about Brühls character being the villain in Dr. Strange. Which is kinda odd (pun avoided!) since Dr. Strange and Zemo are not heavily involved with each other as far as I know.

I'd prefer if he is not shot by Crossbones. They would resurrect him for Thanos and constantly having people reappear after they 'died' makes it loose its meaning when somebody is killed. After Infinity War (during which Thanos could squash Steve) they can bring Bucky as the new Captain in Phase 4.

David Tennant is cast as the Purple Man on AKA Jessica Jones. Looking forward to a creepy 10th Doctor Purple Man, not looking forward to Tennant's American accent. (Watch Broadchurch, then 1 episode of Gracepoint to understand). Oh & this guy will be playing Cage.

Maybe they'll have him use the British accent and try to play it off as James Bond-ish charm.

Purple Man is Yugoslavian so I doubt the accent will be so much of an issue.

First teaser for the Fantastic 4 is up. Not enough to go on to really form an opinion, but I don't hate the look.

I don't think there will be anything in that movie that will make me get over the whole Domashev, ruler of latveria.com/forums reimagining.
