I think I'm most interested in Dr Strange because of the current MCU's strict "magic doesn't exist!" policy. Can we all just agree that "Female Lead Spider-Man Spinoff" late 2018 is going to be Black Cat? She's the only female character there that has any momentum, and she's been introduced in both the movies and the games. After the Wonder Woman announcement, wouldn't be surprised if the "Unknown Movie" preceding it turns out to be a Marvel Female Lead movie being moved up on the schedule just to kneecap DC. Probably Black Widow, though Captain Ms Marvel would be more interesting to me.

I wonder who owns Spider-Woman? I gotta assume its Sony, but wouldn't it be awesome if she showed up instead of Peter in a Marvel flick?

None of the Thor stuff is magic? Hammers that determine your value of self-worth before you can lift them and whatnot?

I'm legitimately asking because I don't follow this stuff and didn't know if they wanked it away with Norwegian mitochlorians or something.

There's a conversation Thor and Jane have about how her ancestors called science magic, and how Asgard is a place where they are one and the same, and another discussion where ... someone says something along the lines that magic is just science that they don't understand yet.

The first hint at magic was in the after credit scene of Winter Soldier me thinks. The first one with Baron Wolfgang von Strucker and the 'twins' (Wanda and Pietro, the children of Magneto, who doesn't exist in that universe so their origin has to be altered).

I'm not entirely sure. My geek tells me Marvel Disney because she has very little to actually do with Spider-Man. I mean, she's code-named Spider-Woman and likes Aunt May's chocolate chip cookies. That's about all I can remember they have in common. She flies, shoots lightning, and has pheromone control. But my slightly more reasonable side says from under the gag my geek side keeps shoved down it's throat says that she's named Spider-Woman and the average movie goer is going to automatically make the connection between the two. As far as I can tell this little diagram is about the best we've got to go on, though it's hardly going to answer the question.

Quickly googled Namor movie rights because I can't remember any movie with him and was hoping him to go back to Marvel Studios/Disney. But it seems things ain't that easy. I hope they get this sorted out because handled right he can be an amazing character.

Marvel can't. Fox owns Wade.

I read somewhere they want to make Deadpool a PG13 movie. Not sure if that's true but if it is... That's not the way I'd want to see him on the big screen.

Agreed, but PG13s make way more $ than Rs & with Ryan Reynolds starring, I can't fault the studio for having doubts. Fox has done well with the last 2 X-Men flicks & the Wolverine wasn't terrible either, so I'm hoping for good things...

Really, the only difference between PG13 and R is a boatload of swearing and more gore added to the body count. Do we really need Wade to Samuel L Jackson? And Lord of the Rings: Return of the King has a high on-screen body count to go with it's PG13 rating, just not much in the way of intestines spilling out and such.

It's not that big a deal.

A bit of something on the Deadpool front, for anyone interested. Soska Sisters Pitch Their Deadpool Idea. Twin directors/actors who do slasher flicks like American Mary, Dead Hooker in a Trunk, and See no Evil 2. Generally low plot heavy gore pieces. Enjoyable if that's what you're in the market for.

Pro - They want Hydra Bob
Con - They insist Daniel Way be involved in script writing

My personal verdict: I absolutely loathe Daniel Way's Deadpool so just on that front I disagree with them whole-heartedly. Also the whole "****ing random hookers, doing drugs, and random murders" doesn't sound like any Deadpool I've ever read, including Way's, so I'm kind of left questioning just how much they've actually read of the character.
