Those of you out there who are hip to Facebook may have seen this BREAKING NEWS from the Distant Worlds Facebook Page. Final Fantasy XIV music has been added to the December 12th concert being held in Chicago. Steven likes it, how about you?

I'm only 6 hours from Chicago. Where can I find ticket prices?

Might have to rent a snowmobile, too. I hate driving on major highways in the winter. []

Yes it's an orchestra with a choir. They also show video for each song as well.
You can find where to purchase tickets at the Distant Worlds site. There is a CD out as well you can purchase/download.

If you can get to this get your butt there. Who knows when/if they will come back to the US.

Eeek! It's in the Suburbs. >.<

I would like to go, but have a few concerns.

Could someone that has attended a previous performance enlighten me on what the show is like? For instance do people cosplay and make a lot of noise? Or are they relatively behaved during these performances?

Thanks!

Very behaved. I didn't see much cosplay, since you sit down the entire time.

I signed up for the email alerts back when I went to the DW Baltimore concert so I've known about this for awhile. I was rather tempted to drive out there for it, seeing as they went and added about seven or eight songs that were not played at the concert I went to in June, but it's just not in the budget right now. If you have the chance to go though, I'd highly recommend doing so. It's an incredible experience.

For those that don't know what this is, here is a crappy cell phone video I took during my favorite song, To Zanarkand. The video isn't too bad, but the audio didn't turn out the best.
