I like the original Concept of crafting, because as you know its hard to hit frigin 100 + 3! You cant just pull it off in a day like in WoW how you can go from 1-450 in a couple of hours. Its realistic to make it hard and the rewards as such are very nice, however the whole embedding things into an item is nice in thought but there will have to be limitations and such and the start and finish of that project would be monstrous. I would like to see some sort of customazation of items so that every job has one set of freaking armor or just one main weapon! Like a bard should have a Joytoy and War's are expected to get a Riddel, I like the thought of having a goal as in a hard weapon to get but at the same time I wish you could customize maybe an elemental attachment or something or other, Stock but customized. The thought of putting stats on a weapon is seen in WoW but also it has the same effect as just stated, EVERYONE within a certain build has the same EXACT enchantments, which gets old really quickly. Maybe make EX Items one time use customization. Also adding another step to the process of crafting, (ie making materials by crafting before making weapons) is kinda already implemented with Woodworking and the lumber, also ingots with Smithing, and Gems in JC so i dont really see what it is your implying. Lastly I do like how diffrent moon phases and direction and such, it adds excitement when crafting and makes it less dull, such as crafting a Scorpion Harness on Darksday, you do it hoping for that cool little +1 addon that makes it skyrocket in value!
