Linkshell/Guild Menu SuggestionsFollow

Let's not kid ourselves here, FFXI Linkshell menu was basic and overall just lame. Post some suggestion you'd like to see appear in FFXIV.

1. Invite button - Having to meet up to trade an item was fail.
2. Longer MOTD - No more making up Acronym's to make the motd fit, please.
3. New overall feel - Anyone else feel at times that linkshell's were just a group of people? It never really felt like a guild there was no guild exp, no emblem, no guild tag on your name (just a colorful linkshell that looked like 10 others on the server).

1)I like the invite button.
2)It would be cool if we had voice chat in the Linkshell and the game.
3)I also agree with your #3 and how about a place just for your guild?

I really would like a different guild system. It was nice that you could join multiple ones but I got sick of them taking up my inventory space.

I agree with all of that, espcially the invite button. I like WoW's guild tabards, though they can often be pretty rediculous. But I like the Linkshell color thing in FFXI too. I mean, sure some other guild might have your color too, but the same can be said of anything like that.
WoW - Quel'dorei <ON HOLD>

Main: Tancoo (80 Tauren Enhance Shaman)
Other: Saraah (63 BE Paladin)
Raymund (47 Troll Hunter)

FFXI - Carbuncle <RETIRED>
Raymund - 45 DRG, 42 PLD, 26 BLU, 30 RNG, 1 NIN <- I miss you Buster!

One thing i liked about the old system, was how easy it was to use. However, i really have to agree to the invite button. It was pretty lame carrying all those linkpearls around. Give us a menu tab option to switch to w/e LS we want to be in at that moment.
