I'd like to see death worked into battles like it is in regular FFs rather than once you die its basically over for you in that fight. But I don't know how this could be fleshed out with a proper penalty and to prevent noobs from using zombie tactics when clearly outmatched.
FF1-10: You stay dead until someone casts Life, uses a Phoenix Down, or in 1, you go to the priest to have him molest you.
FF11: You stay dead with the option of going back to your "home point" at an xp loss
FFT: A counter goes from 3 to 0 then you become a crystal or chest
So either you are recommending not allowing homepointing, or farming dead bodies for treasure and crystals (sorta, in T they are place-holders if I remember correctly), neither of which appear to assist players in zombie tactics unless I am allowed to use my fallen comrad's Riddel and full AF by letting him die and hoping he becomes a chest not a crystal :-p
