As much as I loved them (Lion, Prishe, Aphmau, Lilisette), would anyone like so see older heroes? Even male perhaps? FFXI seemed to have a trend for jail bait looking lead characters. I dunno, maybe it's just me, but knowing there's hentai art out there of Prishe and a certain beaded toy just kinda irks me. lol

Here's to hoping for some more mature ladies and guys to accompany you in XIV.

Why wouldn't you want heroines to be a pair of tits with an upbeat tomboyish attitude? What is wrong with you?

In all seriousness, moe-ness sells games in Japan faster than *** sells things in the US. It is pretty disturbing.

Impossibly pretty young women are as much a part of Final Fantasy as the chocobos. Celes, Terra, Tifa, Yuffie, Aeris, Rinoa, Quistis, Selphie Garnet/Dagger, Yuna, LuLu Riku etc....

And so are men, Wakka, Cloud, Squall, Cecil, Zell, Barrett. I agree with the OP, enough with revolving around women this time around more male heroes. Can have a mixture, ffxi had ALL female leads.

I have no problem with male heros. I didnt play ffxi far enough to know that there werent any. And yea impossibly androgynous males are as much a part of Final fantasy as the chocobos.

Lol DFC. Thinking about it more, I realized that maybe FFXI was trying for something different from the rest of the FF series. The only games I recall having lead female characters were FFVI and FFX-2. Anyways, this is in fact going to be a Japanese game. Most games and anime tend to have younger characters as protagonists. Or androgynous boy/girl things. lol

My original point was maybe make the women look more like women, not young girls. And of course some male eye candy wouldn't hurt, but I'm not holding my breath. lol

well, about prishe...

actually she is a lot older that your grandma, if it can help ease your pain :x

ffxi heros choices are based on the following toughs:
-players are mostly boys.
-ffs used to have some love stories(4, 6, 8, 9, 10), the more they added them, the more games had success.
-youth is vigorous and often engaged for the world(at least in ff).
-chances for the devs to find pron will increase with every moe character they make.
