Everyone who uses Allakhazam, besides the trolls, should all join one server.
We have a really good community, and everyone here has contributed something to help others. I, myself, admit to being a troll a couple times, but I'm not anymore.

What does yous thinks?

Sure I'm up for that. Anything is better then the drama we faced when our guild from Anarchy Online migrated over. The leader was a real fink once he got settled in FFXI.

We are the BLU. Lower your shields and power down your weapons. You will be assimilated. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Resistance is futile

Speaking of Anarchy Online, how is it?

The first year was incredible. Yes it was very beta at release but it was a lot of fun playing a Sci-Fi online game. However once they released Notum Wars, it sure went down the toilet. I did come back to try Shadow Lands & Alien Invasion. I think they had a great game concept until they polluted it with all those oddball expansions.

Allakhazam Linkshell?!?! ftw!

But in all seriousness, I'd be down for that. I'm always for being part of a strong community. Hopefully some of us can scout out the servers during *whispers* the beta.

could backfire if they do what they did on release of FFXI and you were allocated a server?

I suppose they might have the passes again onto friends servers, that means people need to wait for friends to buy one for them from ala, but how would you decide who you are giving yours too????

I think that's something they'll fix for FFXIV. They said they want to make the game a lot more player friendly, in a lot of ways. It makes sense that they'll let people stick together to 1) preserve the existing FFXI communities out there and 2) let people play with their friends right off the bat. Things like that are huge for MMOs. SE will do whats right.

I think so too. I see no reason for them to make players join random servers as in FFXI. I guess they'll make something simillar to other MMOs where you see how crowded a server is and the choice is up to the players which one they join.

Regarding the alla users all joining one server...I'm up for that but that one will be crowded for sure, lol.

I am quite curious about how they are gonna do this... cause what i liked about FFXI was that it was a big mix of cultures (i think everybody loved this)..JP NA EU it was alot of fun and made the game active at all times.
Immagine if we have full freedom of choosing servers, im positive that people from the same language would all choose 1 server.. like all JP servers.. sure you could still choose to go there but the majority would be JPs there would be no more balance.
While ofcourse like everyone else i want to be able to play with my RL mates.
In FFXI it wasn't a problem for me because i was already playing the game and could deliver my RL friends world passes.

I'd like for them to give info about this soon, id really love the mixed servers again but i also want to be able to start on the same server as my friends at launch... any1 have any ideas on how they should do this??
