Both of these are very old as the one link pointed out, from E3 2005.

From then a lot could have changed, especially because it's not on the 360 as of now.

They are both very old, but however I agree. It was a very interesting and nice read seeing how this developed into FFXIV. I remember seeing that tech demo and being on a forum site called www.squareenixmmo.com for the longest time speculating with only the information of the tech demo hahaha.

hMMM...It seems like alot of little things were leaked...and i missed all of em 0.o. But im not to impressed with the tech demo. looks pretty much the same as ffxi grapics wise.

Anyone else notice windy in the background in the last scene? atleast it looks like windy.

You're kidding right? Do you see the reflections in the water, and all the minor details that look so much more smooth and crisp compared to FFXI. I mean I agree that the graphics are styled in a way so it does remind you of FFXI, but those look incredible. You also have to remember that that tech demo was shown in 2005, I'm sure many things have improved since.
