I wrote about this in another topic, but I just want this to be out there.
I wonder how they plan on doing the item limitation without any levels. They already stated that they don't intend on having levels which is fine and I understand that relatively well. But in an mmo how do you plan on having items for sale and to be found without limitations on when to be equipped?
Off the top of my head, the options might end up being.. no limitations (bad idea of course) every different job has a very specific type of armor worn, going from very light, light, medium, medium heavy, heavy, and super heavy types. Depending on your job depends on what you can wear and from there add other specific limitation where you need to have a base stat of xxx need to equip. Weapons i guess can be delegated by your current skill in wielding that weapon type.
any other ideas?
