I'm working on releasing it. Most of you don't know who we are, but it doesn't matter. We're looking to expand our community before FFXIV drops next year when we will begin filling up the database. Until then, drop by our forums and say hello! :)

P.S.
Please let us know about any site bugs in our Site Support forum; we just went live today. Thank you.

very nice and clean. i like this better than a wikipedia. i do hope you make the search input so it searches automaticly in quests, items, maps, npc, beastery etc... right?

If so, you can extend this by making a plugin for firefox. just an idea.

Thanks! I'm glad you are liking it. The database search will actually work very similar to Wowhead; in fact the whole site will--except obviously it will be for Final Fantasy XIV. We have a pretty good database admin/back-end programmer with us so I have full faith in our search filtering and functionality.

Your Firefox plugin is an excellent idea. We'll look into this when it comes time to populate the database...when we have information to populate it with of course. ^_^ Thank you for the idea! Hope to see you on the forums.

OMG. Greatest idea ever. It's like what they have in WOW. I already have it save to my favorites lol.

Excellent. Having a site with quest/items/ect information from the start of the game will be beneficial for the community. (A clean and easy to navigate site is a major plus) I'm also bookmarking. Thank you Deim and good luck!

Thank you all for the support, we really appreciate it. :) Our team only consists of two of us: Me--the graphic/web designer, and a friend--who is doing the database/backend stuff. As the community grows and more info is released about the game, we will have more of a need to expand and recruit forum moderators and perhaps even contributors; depending on how Square will allow us to retrieve information from the servers. Wowhead is lucky because Blizzard openly allows addons to be used in the game; let's hope Square is more open to this than they were with FFXI.

Thanks again!
