Yes this is real. I don't know if this is a mistake or a promotion but I just bought one. I am having it delivered on Monday. I wonder if it will actually arrive.....

Yeah, I'm already unable to checkout. I wouldn't be surprised if the people who got their order through get a call saying that it was a mistake.

Never confuse your inference as the listener for an implication of the speaker.

Good games are subjective like good food is subjective. You're not going to seriously tell me that there's not a psychological basis for why pizza is great and lutefisk is revolting. The thing about subjectivity is that, as subjects go, humans actually have a great deal in common.

I am pretty sure they have to honor the price for atleast one item. so if a person bought 10 they would have to sell them 1 at that price not all ten.

Nice find, I doubt it's real though. Unfortunately it won't let me check out now, so even if it is real I won't be getting one. Let us know what happens to those that have successfully ordered!

It is almost certainly a real data entry mistake. They still are required to sell at the listed price, but their servers are currently swamped at the moment so I doubt many orders will get through before they realize the mistake and fix it.

Personally I got an error message stating that their delivery system was currently offline. I don't know if that was because the server was swamped or because they caught on and shut it down.

Is there some legal obligation for them to sell you one at the listed price? I can imagine that there is, but at the same time I won't be surprised if taking them to court over it proves too cumbersome.

Is the price being $2,699.99 the mistake, or was it much lower before?

edit: Price was ~$10 dollars wasn't it? ****, knew I shouldn't have slept.

But don’t get yourself too excited because Best Buy has a privacy policy that protects the company from “mistakes” whenever they make one. That means that you won’t get to buy the Ln52a650 for $9.99 because if a blopper happens, Best Buy can’t be forced to ship the goods.

That's double lame. I really do need to upgrade my TV, though. It's really hard for me to read letters on my PS3 because I guess they assume I have an HDTV or something and therefore the letters are really tiny.

Unless this was some sort of "zOMG MEGA DEAL" that was promotional only there is no way anyone is going to actually get the TV at that price. There is no law that says you have to sell something at a particular price, especially when it is obviously low. If it was a few dollars off, maybe, but over 2k off, yea I don't think so.
