The katakana for the automaton looking little guy Reads as MAMETTO so it can't be an automaton since the katakana for automaton is OTTOMATON.
I just translated this four posts before yours. It's "mammet." And automaton is "オートマトン" not "オットマトン."
Has anyone noticed this little bit in the google translated version underneath the archer?
certified archery: Bow (Short Bow) equipment
Does it not seem like it implies there will be a class for, say, a long bow?
Sorry, I just translated the class names and not the equipment after the colon. They say "Grappler: weapon (baghnakhs) equipped," "Archer: bow (shortbow) equipped," "Axeman: axe (bhuj) equipped," and "Tailor: sewing tools (needle) equipped."
Your interpretation seems a little off. You become an "archer" by equipping a bow and using bow skills. You become an "axeman" by equipping an axe and using axe skills. The names given, shortbow and bhuj, are just examples of things you would equip to get access to those skills.
