Saw these posted up on Eorzeapedia, didn't see them in here.
Unfortunately they're in Japanese, but we can see him playing the game with a little more finesse.

Anyone that can translate? XD He's saying quite alot in the videos.

Unfortunately my listening comprehension sucks due to my lack of studying/watching Japanese media.

So in response, I can't wait for a translation! Lol whatever he said looks interesting.

I like the ability to re size the chat log, if not in town just chatting, planning a fight start I like very little chat log visual enough to get what I need to see, so I hope you can minimize it totally or it goes flat like in FFXI.

I'm so happy that they care to put us FFXI players first(as they mentioned). ^^

You can def. tell it'll seem familiar from the videos shown so far, except for the way our chars will progress...which I don't think it'll be so bad as long as its my type of mmo, which is the final fantasy mmo.

Hope they show char. creation next.

I'm relieved.

I'm not really sure how I feel about no auto-attack thing.

On one hand, I appreciate the idea that battles aren't supposed to be boring or routine, but on the other hand, I'm having problems imagining the 500th time you fight a dodo being exciting no matter how many buttons you have to push to make it die oO?

Overall, the game seems really interesting and I'm looking forward to it, but certain things make me wonder. Of course, it just might be my limited experience and lack of imagination.

It looks like FFXI, only with smoother graphics and no auto-attack. :x

Sorry. Smiley: laugh

I forget if it was Danalog who said it in IRC, but I'm going to be one of those old school "EQ 1 ONLY" retro gamers with FFXI.

Looking at these gameplay videos I am just thinking. Is there really any need to fight 3 weaker mobs at the same time instead of just fighting one really powerful mob. I can see this being interesting when fighting bosses but just regular mobs for exp points?

It's like in FFXI..they linked. That and the fact they were buffed beyond reason there's no reason not to 'show off'.
