Just wondering how many people would buy the brady guide when it comes out for FFXIV. Idk if many people are around since when the FFXI one came out, but i think it would be useful just for beginning even though it ended up useless post-30

I'm sure the Brady Guide to Final Fantasy XIV will have a treasure trove of information to help us out in our quest to better our characters in Final Fantasy IX.

I'd say we the community of FFXI make our own **** guide this time around. Elmer and Pikko can do the job bios. Everyone who tests the Beta can contribute. ***** another Brady guide!

F*** that GD guide.... yes I have been drinking, but my point remains valid!
'Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting 'Holy s**t!What a ride!

TBH, if it has detailed maps, I'd probably buy it.

That was basically the reason i liked mine was just for the world connection map, and the skillchain chart/ spell lists were nice too, plus the starter quests helped. However the advice on the job selection were retarded at best

Close, but not quite. Somepage's link list, the atlas site, Mysterytour and forums like Alla and KI killed the strategy guide when the wiki was still just a closet project on the TeamAvengers LS forum server.

Personally I found online guides much more useful. Although as the game starts there aren't many guides to help new adventurers. So as the game progresses, new information is added to wikis.
