How often would you say info is released about FFXIV? I'm going crazy waiting for new information to come out. What sites do you you go to for the latest info on XIV? and lastly do you think S.E. will drop a bombshell like new races to play or something along those lines? and if so what?

At first I found information to be coming quick and dirty. Now the distinct lack of it could just be a marketing plow meant to generate suspense/excitement....etc.

I'm sure there will be many bombshells to be dropped, but new races. I don't think thats happening. I'm thinking it will be more along the lines of class, environmental or even minigame bombshells. Best to just log in here once every two weeks and check. My logging in twice daily isn't getting me much. Just the same old threads with the same old information. If they want to market this properly, they need to give us more things to discuss on the forums before people actually start to lose interest.

You know, there are compilations out there of all the info that has been released. I bet some people run blogs with all the latest interviews, articles, information and what not... If only I knew of one... If only...

Big game shows, and in between FFXI updates.

They aren't going to release an XI update, with lots of info about XIV at the same time. That's bad marketing.

Actually, this is SE. They'll probably announce a new expansion, and at the same time, announce the XIV release date. For the same day.

I check them both about once a week at the end of the week. That way I catch the Thursday topics every week.

I remember waiting for info before XI came out, seemed like there'd be a dry stretch for a few months and I'd forget to check after a while. Then boom, suddenly a lot.
This is SE we're talking about. :P They drove us crazy in various ways from Oct 03 through all the years we played, why would they change now?

They were releasing new info every few weeks when it was first confirmed that it's being made, but now it's slowed down to new info every few months.
There should be new info hopefully by thanksgiving.
