I'm sure most of you rememmber the old tech demo from 2005.

take note of this image in particular.
http://www.finalfantasy14-online.com/screenshots/images/project-rapture-2.jpg

what ive noticed is that three of the cities in 14 seem to resemble this concept city in different ways.

obviously Limsa Lominsa is simila in that it consists of a city over water suspended and connected via the use of bridges.

The general dome-shaped architecture is very reminicent of Ul'Dah.

and finally the hot air baloon and the docks on the left side of the picture look alot like this:

http://www.eorzeapedia.com/wp-content/uploads/Fusionx/2009/08/uldah.jpg The pic in the top right

there has been debate as to whether the top right pic is uldah from a different view point, or the fourth city, ishgard.
i believe it is indeed ishgard as the picture beside it shows a mountainous area and there are mountains in the background of the city picture as well. uldah seems to be very flat, no mountains at all. But to the point, there is a blimp as well as similar looking docks on the left side of that picture.

just interesting, no real point.

I've never seen those 2 pics above.. very cool. I thought Ishgard would be a snowy city, being on top of mountains and all, but it seems I was wrong.. Can't wait to visit it nonetheless.

If it turns out not being a snowy city i'm going to be very disappointed...this would have been my choice of residence

like i said, its uncertain as to whether the city in question is infact ishgard, or just an interior view of Ul'dah. I think i snowy city would be great as this mystery city looks alot like the one pic we've seen from uldah. monotony is bad.

The one big thing that makes me think it is indeed its own city, though, is that if you look closely at the right side of the picture, the side with the docks and blimp, you can see that the city itself is on a fairly high cliff. Uldah, on the other hand, seems relatively close to the ground. I've never been able to tell from the pic, but Uldah is either surrounded by a huge gate, or the whole city is on some type of platform. Either way, it all loooks too close to the ground to be the same city as the one in question.
