Maybe it's just me, but..

Do any of you guys get that feeling before playing any Final Fantasy title..

It's hard to explain, but I will try my best. I remember buying Final Fantasy VII when I was younger and actually had my first job, and every time I'd pick up a new title I'd sit there and just stare at the packaging like "Wow..a new world to conquer, with new friends, foes, and adventures. I can't wait to explore this world and conquer it, then continue the Final Fantasy saga. I wonder what will be in store in the next one?" -And that's before I even opened the game, lol. Now, here I stand, plenty of years later, on the FFXIV main page thinking the same thing. Just the picture is leaving me so anxious to just explore this amazing world, the mountains, the woodlands, and even conquer the sea.

Maybe it's just me, but I always get this feeling that I'm going into another world when I play these games, sounds crazy, but I'm sure a lot of you can relate.

So, do you have Final Fantasy-itis?

Alot more when I was younger.

When you know how the magician pulls the rabbit out of the hat, sometimes it's hard to sit back and enjoy the show.
All I see are verts, textures, and code.

Every so now and again a work will come along that can enthrall me again, make me forget the man behind the curtain for just a little while. The movie Avatar did this splendidly, just to provide a good measuring stick. We'll see if FFXIV is able, but it's a very difficult thing for an MMO.

hmmm
Did anybody do something like me when you get your FFXI?

The gamestop was very close to the bus station, so I stayed in the store looking at the FFXI box, hoping another FFXI fan will walk by and talk to me about the game lol

I talked to the Cashier AT Game Stop for like 15 minutes while buying my HDD, FTW!
