Yeah, about my play of FFVI: It's my first pre-PS1 FF and I was thrown by the difficulty of the game compared to FFVII and beyond. I'm still chugging along, and thanks to my completionist habits, it'll probably keep me busy until XIV comes out, knowing SE.

Considering I beat FFXII again in the time it took me to make my first post in this thread, and the day it is now, I'd say VI is definitely hard. But I'm enjoying it a lot; it's quickly turning into my favourite FF.

Now to find Xenogears!

FFVI is hands down my favorite game ever. It really is harder than a lot of the newer stuff, unless you played the game to death(like myself) and know every single thing about it.

And good luck finding Xenogears. I messed up my first disc, and have yet to find another copy. Always Ebay, though.

I can't find my copy, I'm sad :( However they put it up on PSN for JP I'm hoping eventually we'll get the same treatment. I know there are torrents out there, but I have this need to own things... things I've paid for. For some reason my only PS1 discs still around are FFVII VIII one of the Anthologies and Dragon Warrior VII... the rest I've been re-purchasing my early 20's via PSN.

FF6 is My favorite game of all time too. With Xenogears vying with Metroid Prime for second.

You should look up Xenogears on Amazon.com Plenty of used copies at reasonable'ish prices... the New copies of the game are ranging from $99 - $199 though... totally asinine lol.

Right now I'm playing FFIV for the DS in preparation for the After Years, and Disgaea. I want to finish those games, as well as Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (dropped it a long time ago but want to finish it), Final Fantasy XIII, No More Heroes 2, and Mother 3 before the release of FFXIV. At the pace I'm going, I'm completely boned.

Never confuse your inference as the listener for an implication of the speaker.

Good games are subjective like good food is subjective. You're not going to seriously tell me that there's not a psychological basis for why pizza is great and lutefisk is revolting. The thing about subjectivity is that, as subjects go, humans actually have a great deal in common.

Recently bought a used PS2 to try out FFXII, and playing Tekken with the b/f just because.

Started WoW a couple weeks ago and it's already boring, but I'll probably stick with it just to get my fix till FFXIV comes out. The time can't come fast enough. ><

If anyone's interested, Square Enix's PvP action MMO is getting an English release... probably gonna be playing that soon.

Fantasy Earth Zero (used to be on JP PlayOnline)

Graphics are dated like FFXI's, but it's free and the gameplay looks good... plus you can play with a 360 controller. :P

Modern Warfare 2 - On my first Prestige
Assassin's Creed 2 - When I get bored of MW2...which isn't often

I'll probably stick with both of those until Red Dead Redemption (think western GTAIV) comes out. That game will be epic. Red Dead Redemption should tide me over until FFXIV although I might get Mass Effect 2.

I haven't logged into my FFXI account in a few months. I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to keep the account or not. I don't really ever see myself playing it for more than an hour or two at a time...have a hard time paying a fee for something I'm not playing....but don't want to toss all of the work I put into my character :(

Recently went through the FF games that I never beat (2, 4 and 6...somehow the even games didn't appeal to me than the others). Since that has been finished, Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie.

Another game i picked up that i think everyone would enjoy: Torchlight
This game is very similar to diablo2 because this game is made by some of the people that created diablo, it's a single player game at the moment but there's plans to turn it into a mmorpg with a cash shop around 2 years from now. This game is modable so that's definately a plus in my book. You can download the free demo to see if you like here: http://www.torchlightgame.com/ it only lasts 2 hours though. The game costs $20.00 and you can buy it in stores or there's other options for purchase.

I played it for abit. There is very few maps(but belive they finaly added a few more) Its ok for awhile, but later on once you get higher level. The only way to level is by helping ppl on there dungeons(mission kinda stuff) to level. So its just a big 'help this person do dungeon, help next person do same dungeon, help another person do this dungeon. Very repetative quick.

The Battle system is different since you have to dodge atks and such yourself.

Also getting MAG tomorrow. Raven sniper :)
