Funny how you stress both syllables. :P :P
Should add an exclamation mark after each of them, too!

ORZ!-YEAH!

I use the Japanese spellings as reference, since Japanese is written phonetically. Once you translate your way through the accent (e.g. L vs R) the pronunciations become pretty clear.

For instance, Eorzea. The Japanese spelling indicates that it is pronounced "ey-OR-zey-ah" ("ey" rhyming with "hey").

Elezen = Eh-leh-zen
Lalafell = I don't think there's any controversy over this one. Lah-lah-fell.
Hyur = In Japanese it's "hyuran", but basically you actually make the "hyu" sound. Like "hyoor". (Edit: Like the "hyu" sound in the word "human")
Roegadyn = Roo-gah-deen. I was surprised by this one.
Miqo'te = Mee-koh-tey.

"Hyuran"? Hmm...
Roo-ga-deen spelled Roegadyn is indeed wierd.
Mee-koh-tey confirmation is what I was interested in the most. Nice to know that. :)

For some reason, only the Hyur have a different name in Japanese. On the Japanese website, it writes the races out in English letters and in Japanese letters, and while every other race is the same, even in English lettering it says "Hyuran".

I kind of prefer the word "Hyuran" to "Hyur" because I think it sounds less like "durrr" or some sort of weird sound like that. But maybe they wanted it to sound less like "human" to English-speakers? I imagine that's where they got the "hyoo" sound from.

Still doesn't explain why they don't have it as Hyuran in the English version. Really wierd. I prefer Hyuran, too.
