One of my favorite memories in any MMO is chilling in a town, seeing everyone off doing their own thing at the AH or whatever, lower jeuno was so much fun to hang out in ffxi. I personally dont like jungle type areas for some reason, or atleast takes a while to grow on me.

Zi'tah was my favorite zone and music made it even more so. I just love forested areas. Especially dark forests where plants emit life just giving beauty to the scene. I hope Gridania will fall into this category and I'll never want to leave the city.

I enjoy the places with a lot of woods and water all around. So forests.
I'll be going Elezen Wildwoods for that reason, but I also can't wait to see the main cities.
I hope when you walk into Limsa Lominsa that there are npcs and players EVERYWHERE.
Big city, busy people (maybe some not so busy) but just big and full.

I hope they are not EVERYWHERE otherwise I would have trouble walking around and moving let a lone actually doing something. Unless we can step through people. =P

In no particular order:

Pso'Xja ~ Love the music and the mysterious lights. It's also a zone that is rarely visited out of Quests/Missions and it has the unique Cryptonberries with red coats.

The Sancturay of Zi'Tah ~ The Music and the deep forest feeling with the glowing crystals is just perfect.

Purgonorgo Isle ~ The most spectacular Sunset and Sundown. Black Mandies and the Uragnite made this place truly unique.

I really liked the lush areas in XI like Zi'tah and the jungles. They were always just more fun to be in. But I also really like Qufim, I'd go there sometimes just to walk around if I was bored. I remember the first time I caught the aurora lights, it was amazing.

Can't wait to see what kinds of incredible areas XIV has in store.

Snow areas, but interesting ones. Xarc and beau to me were boring, but the cop one was awesome. Moutains, ice caverns, and frozen waterfalls- oh my!

It would also be interesting to see an area that's landscape changes with month/season, but that might be too much to hope for.

I love snow cities and I really hope they have one in FFXIV. I also like lush forest so I hope they have something like Windurst but greener.

I liked Gustaberg simply because the music was awesome, other areas I enjoyed were lufaise meadows , jeuno , high lands
FF11 had really nice enviroments it's something I missed when playing wow, altho wow had the seamless world thing happenin,
so in ff14 we get the best of both worlds hopefully

I've always preferred realistic looking areas. When you starting getting into these "land of Giant Mushrooms with glowing purple lighting" Willy Wonka areas, I get a bit turned away. I know it's a "fantasy" game, but we don't need an acid trip fantasy. For example, the outdoor area in Sea was a little too over the top for me. The inside of the palaces was cool though. Sky on the other hand, loved that area. Nice blend of fantasy (floating area) mixed with some realism (trees and grass).
