PlayStation Move in FFXIV?Follow

Only questions and speculation here, but now that Square Enix is confirmed to be supporting Sony's PlayStation Move motion controller, I'm hoping they'll integrate it into FFXIV. It doesn't have to be anything fancy: since it looks like this game is going to have much better mouse support than XI did, it would be nice to have the motion controller as a mouse replacement on PS3. It looks precise enough to do the job, and a wand is much better suited to couch gameplay than a mouse.

If there aren't any plans yet, well, I hope they're reading this.

Using a motion controller for hours on end in an MMO...

There's many words I can use to describe this idea, and "good" is not one of them.

Do you think there'd be an increased delay in response with that kind of controller?

Your hyperbolic / sarcastic statement is very clever, but for an online game where I'm also using a keyboard to communicate with people I'd rather not be juggling around some remote control as well. Something like this would be better incorporated into FF13 versus or FF15 where you don't have to use multiple peripherals to effectively play.

People use the mouse in FFXI? I thought most folks either used the keyboard or keyboard+controller.

I could see it maybe as optional mouse/pointer.

I doubt they'll add anything specifically for it since its going to be on PC and possibly 360.

I could be wrong, but Square Enix supporting this new controller will probably only branch into titles developed by the companies they have acquired, something along the lines of Just Cause 2 could make use of this.

You're already juggling multiple peripherals: keyboard/mouse on PC and keyboard/controller on PS3. The wand would replace the controller/mouse.

It could happen, but I'm not to terribly interested in setting up my Playstation Eye every time I wanna playing Final Fantasy XIV.
