Now we get to see what Elmer saw... :)

It does not have that bonus video of ingame stuff(as we might never see that), however it does have the little concert and what not that was the "secret bonus stage".

Very cool stuff and some more FFXIV music for us to listen to

Yay for Nobuo composing 80 songs for XIV, never been a big fan of The Black Mages though.

80 songs...

The two songs that TBM played sounded like they were from an 80's movie soudtrack... I hope i'm not walking through a field in FFXIV with a distorted electric keyboard and guitar playing "public service announcement from the 80s" as the BGM. ugh...

That is just the way The Black Mages are; they take FF songs written by Nobuo Uematsu and rewrite them into rock variations. I would not read too much into the way the songs sounded at Vanafest, as those were rewrites of songs we have already heard. Songs, I might add, that sounded very different than the versions heard at Vanafest.

If you watched the Secret Stage FFXIV they said that they have recieved several hundred thousand beta applicants Oo. I wonder if that is 200k or 900k ^^.

To the Original Poster all of this was avaliable to see on the live feed btw, the part which wasn't shown was the games intro cutscene which is not shown here either ... :(

They said "hundres or thousands," not "hundreds of thousands."
