3rd(?) round of beta invitesFollow

Seems that SE has yet again invited more people to test the game, this time even those that have not linked FFXI accounts to their SE ID. Still seems to be PC only though!

The invite might show up in your email, might not, so checking your SE account should be the best way to figure it out.

......how do I know if I already registered for beta or not?
I think I did but I don't see any email that I applied for beta test.
All I see is account register complete. Furthermore, I'm getting the newsletter about FFXIV

Ouch, heart-crushing disappointment. :(

Are they even out of Alpha testing yet? Not that anyone who's been asked is allowed to say anything but has something come down from SE about it?

Do we even have a reliable source on this?

These "waves" of invites don't make a whole lot of sense right now, considering as far as anyone knows, the Beta isn't even live. "Waves" of invites makes sense when you are trying to make sure everyone can download a client, or trying to ensure that everyone can log in to a live game without a thousand people trying to hit the server at the same time.. but there's almost no reason for invites to happen in "waves" when we don't even know if Alpha is over, or even begun for that matter.

Of course, perhaps the client is available for download and none but the invitees know about it. Though if that were the case, I think we'd have a lot more leaked information (all over the web in unregulated areas like blogs, I don't mean on ZAM)... right now, we basically have nothing but guessing games.

If you want to double check, login to your SE account on the website. Just in case the email gets caught in the spam filter or something.

I'm pretty sure there was a new wave of invites though. People saying they got in and didn't have a FFXI account.

Just log in, click on "confirm membership status" in the menu.

I believe I already registered for FFXIV Alpha test.
But nothing appeared on Confirm Membership Status other than Account Basic Service. Do I have to reapply for FFXIV Alpha test?

No no, if you applied nothing will show up. If you were accepted, it'll show up.
