Feel free to delete or merge this post, whatever you moderators do :)

So I just received an email newsletter from Square Enix, containing a blurb about FFXIV and the beta testing;

Quote:
...Please sit tight and remember not to re-register if you've already submitted a beta application—this will get you disqualified for selection, and we'd hate to see that happen!

But yet on the application site itself;

Quote:
* If an applicant applies multiple times, only the final application will be valid.
...
* If you have already applied for the FINAL FANTASY XIV beta test but would like to apply for the PlayStation 3 beta with a FINAL FANTASY XIV promotional code, please be aware that all previous applications will be invalidated.

I'm assuming the site for the beta test application is correct, but what's up with the conflicting information? It's almost like they don't proof read things they post sometimes, or don't communicate between departments. Usually I'm ok with it, but with this subject it makes me a little worried which information is true
