FFXIV Alpha Test Hands On Report @ Gamekicker.com

Since this is on an official site I figure that Square Enix obviously must have approved it as I've been watching the article for the last 3 days to see if it would be taken down. There are no pictures or video, just information that was probably already known, it's a good read anyways. The source information is also from Famitsu so it's probably safe to say Elmer already linked some of the information here.

There are a lot of new threads floating around here these days as there is apt to be whenever a chunk of new information is released, but your link has already been posted here at least once. Sometimes it's preferable that if you're going to be spending time bouncing around reading articles elsewhere that you also spend a certain amount of time browsing threads here in order to avoid duplication.

On the other hand I think it's better that we have some duplicate link threads, then missing out on links because people are too afraid to post them (fear of posting duplicate information). ^^

I don't disagree in a general sense, but Elmer posted this last week sometime. Not just a thread, but a front page news article if I'm not mistaken. It's about half way down the thread list on the first page. Sometimes duplication is good. Sometimes it's simply clutter. Hard to justify adding clutter in order to deal with clutter :P

I will admit this time I didn't think to check the first page of the forum however I do always generally make it a bad habit of mine to double and triple check so that I'm not posting old information which it seems I have. I won't bump this thread anymore. But regardless, it seems people won't have to break the NDA to release information as Square Enix seems to actually be taking the first step and releasing as much information as they possibly can. And for this I give them a very big thumbs up. Thank you Elmer for posting all that you do and for your translations. Also even though SE and Famitsu won't read this, I thank them too. Okay. Nothing to see here folks, move along now :-P
