I normally try to stick to FFXIV topics strictly but thought I'd share a somewhat entertaining MMO-related web series with y'all, "The Guild." It helped to get me in a nice pre-FFXIV state of mind (even if they do play WoW). Can watch it in decent definition over on youtube.

On a related note, someone on this forum mentioned a game not too long ago and I've found it to be quite addictive.

The game is called League of Legends- it's an online PVP based game that's F2P. The website is (predictably): This not your run-of-the-mill F2P crap. I'm not sure exactly what genre the game belongs to as its the first of its kind that I've played (it's definitely not an mmorpg despite having it listed), but it has enough roleplaying elements to keep me interested. It's apparently based on some game or the sequel to Defense of the Ancients (DOTA). The "champions" (kind of like classes you play with) are all unique and interesting, and they're relatively well-balanced compared to most games I've played. Anyway, this is a great way to kill time when the servers are up (they've been having some problems due to the high number of subscribers).

If anyone wants to play, please feel free to add me- just indicate you're from these forums please- my name is OnionThief.
I might be an onion thief, but I'm still a thief.™

League of Legends ain't all that great. Waaaaay too many twinks playing lower ELO than they should be. But, hey, give it a try if it sounds interesting. :)
WoW -- Zaia -- Dragonmaw -- Mage 80 BABY! Alchemy 450
Also... Hunter 62, Rogue 52, Warrior 66, Warlock 43, Death Knight 70, Shaman Who Cares? ;)

FFXI -- Caia -- Retired/Deleted -- Blm 75, Alchemy 97
Pandimonium server - Rank 10 - Bastok

Zaela Rdm -- 35, Alchemy 45 -- Forced into retirement because I didn't have the right kind of credit card. Hope it was worth 18 bucks a month, SE.

A very solid recommendation. I've been watching The Guild for some time now and I can also vouch for it's awesomeness.

Also, LoL (League of Legends) isn't too bad, but sometimes I feel it's a bit too linear. (Actually literally o.O)

I've been playing Dungeon Fighter Online recently.

It's similar to the old Ninja Turtles and Simpsons 4 player co-op game that used to be in arcades but it's online, with leveling up, magic, skills, items/weapons/armor, and quests. And... it's free!
Here are some pictures from the XI beta:
Some cool pics of the Gigatoad and GM characters in there

Some old videos I made (Don't make fun of them, I was young at the time):

XI beta tester, played for 3 years, if you remember Superguy send me a PM
